Lebanese Dollar

In Lebanon, American dollar bills are made use in a parallel way with the Lebanese pound bills. One American dollar is equivalent to 1500 Lebanese pound and can be used everywhere. I was always wondering why Lebanese people continue to use American dollar despite their bitter memories during the war. So in a traditional printing house in Beirut, I printed a cedar tree, in a dollar bill that I scratched, a gesture to "lebanise" the dollar.
